Destiny Winters, LPC, NCC, CRC, is therapist in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. She specializes in helping people with invisible illnesses and disabilities find joy in their relationships. Destiny runs groups and provides individual therapy to those looking to improve their relationships with themselves their families and their communities. She previously worked as the a family liaison in an intensive outpatient therapy program and helped families learn to communicate and connect with one another ultimately improving their quality of life. Destiny utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and evidenced-based approach for managing chronic pain. She also incorporates Somatic Experiencing into her work helping clients reconnect their mind and body. Destiny believes in the power of self-healing understanding that it’s only possible when we build a loving supportive community through gentle but assertive communication boundaries and flexibility.
