Flora E. Lazar, PhD, LCSW
Psychotherapist Flora E. Lazar, PhD, LCSW, has spent her professional career at the intersection of research, public policy, and clinical practice. She was the founding editor of the Chicago Psychoanalytic Society News, and she's written for a variety of publications. She built and led the public affairs department at Chapin Hall/University of Chicago. And she also produced the documentary film Kings of Pastry, about France’s oldest and most prestigious pastry competition. She lives in Salisbury, Connecticut, where she works with adults and children. A trained French pastry chef, she is still obsessed with creating the perfect croissant and making the perfect Snickers bars from scratch.
